FLO HomeCare

Lifetime Repair Warranty.

Real protection for the plumbing repairs we make, including ordinary wear and deterioration.

$149.95 / year, first enrolled repair+$15.00 / year, each additional repair

Offered after service only. Your FLO technician can enroll an eligible repair once the work is done; it can’t be purchased online.

The FLO lifetime repair promise.

When FLO supplies, sells and installs a qualifying plumbing repair, fixture or component, that work can be enrolled in this program unless it’s expressly excluded. While enrollment stays active and paid, FLO will repair or replace an enrolled component that fails because of ordinary wear and tear, gradual deterioration, a material or manufacturing defect, or defective FLO workmanship.

There’s no expiration just because an enrolled repair gets old. FLO provides the covered repair or replacement labor and qualifying materials with no additional charge. This protects enrolled FLO work; it isn’t a blanket warranty for all the plumbing in your home.

What can be enrolled.

Faucets and sink plumbing

Kitchen, bath, laundry and utility faucets; cartridges, stems, handles, aerators and faucet repair components; supply connections, strainers, tailpieces, traps and pop-up drains.

Toilets and toilet repairs

Qualifying FLO-supplied toilets, fill valves, flush valves, flappers, seals, gaskets, tank bolts, wax rings, toilet flanges, supply lines and toilet leak repairs.

Showers and tubs

Shower and tub valves, cartridges, diverters, tub spouts, showerheads, plumbing trim, drains and qualifying plumbing installed during shower replacements.

Water piping and valves

Hot and cold water piping, qualifying water-service pipe repairs, pipe joints, fittings, shutoffs, angle stops, ball valves, pressure-reducing valves and other eligible valves.

Drain, waste, vent, sewer and storm pipe repairs

Enrolled FLO-installed pipe sections, joints, couplings, fittings and cleanouts. A physical pipe repair may qualify; clearing a blockage does not.

Other ordinary plumbing components

Hose bibbs, frost-free sillcocks, laundry-box valves, refrigerator water lines and qualifying plumbing connections to appliances, plus other FLO-supplied plumbing items not expressly excluded.

Valve promise. Not exercising a valve regularly does not, by itself, disqualify an enrolled FLO-supplied valve. Ordinary wear and deterioration of enrolled valves are covered.

What coverage means.

Covered examples, with active enrollment

  • An enrolled FLO-installed faucet cartridge wears out from ordinary household use.
  • An enrolled toilet fill valve or flapper deteriorates over time and stops working properly.
  • An enrolled shower mixing valve or cartridge fails after years of normal use.
  • An enrolled shutoff valve stops operating, even if it was never routinely exercised.
  • An enrolled FLO-installed drainpipe fitting or water-line joint deteriorates and leaks under normal service conditions.

Not covered examples

  • A different, pre-existing pipe leaks beside an enrolled FLO repair.
  • A kitchen drain clogs and needs snaking, cabling or hydro-jetting.
  • A sump pump, sewage ejector or hot-water recirculation pump stops working.
  • An exterior hose bibb freezes because of weather or inadequate winterization.
  • A homeowner-supplied fixture fails, or a third party alters the enrolled repair.

Clear exclusions.

So you know exactly where the line is. Ordinary wear, deterioration and aging of eligible enrolled components are never exclusions.

Pumps
All pumps and pump operating equipment, including sump, sewage ejector, grinder, effluent, recirculation, booster, well and condensate pumps, and their motors, floats, switches, controllers and batteries. An enrolled FLO-installed pipe or fitting near a pump may qualify; the pump does not.
Water heaters
Tank and tankless water heaters and their internal components. Any manufacturer warranty controls its own coverage.
Garbage disposals
Disposal units, motors and internal parts.
Drain cleaning
Snaking, cabling, hydro-jetting, root cutting, descaling and clearing clogs. Enrolled physical drainpipe repairs may qualify.
Non-plumbing construction
Shower glass, tile, finishes, waterproofing, cabinetry and structural work.

Coverage excludes existing pipes, fixtures or components FLO only connects to, customer-supplied or third-party materials, and unrelated or unenrolled repairs.

Coverage excludes damage or failure caused by freezing, inadequate winterization, loss of heat, abnormal pressure or water hammer, misuse, accidental impact, unauthorized alterations, ground movement, roots, structural shifting, floods, fire, severe weather, utility failures or other outside causes. Ordinary wear, ordinary deterioration and aging of eligible enrolled components are not exclusions.

The warranty does not pay for damage to walls, flooring, cabinets, landscaping, contents or other property.

Pricing & enrollment.

  • Offered after service only: your FLO technician offers enrollment for an eligible repair once the work is done. It isn’t sold online or ahead of a visit.
  • First repair: $149.95 a year includes one eligible enrolled FLO repair at the property.
  • Each additional repair: $15.00, charged when the repair is enrolled, even partway through the year.
  • Annual renewal: $149.95 plus $15.00 for each additional repair. Everything renews on the same date.
  • The repair itself is billed separately. Enrollment doesn’t pay for the original work.
  • Documentation: each enrolled repair is identified by its FLO invoice and description. Coverage is the specific work enrolled, not the whole home.

A real-life example

  • Year 1: FLO repairs a water line. You enroll it for $149.95 a year.
  • Year 2: FLO repairs a drainpipe. You pay $15.00 to add it. Your next renewal is $164.95.
  • Year 3: FLO installs an eligible shower valve. You pay $15.00 to add it. Your next renewal is $179.95 for all three repairs.

Transfers with your home.

Enrolled coverage follows the property and transfers to the next owner with no transfer fee and no new base membership just because the home sold. The new owner keeps the annual payments going without a lapse. Let FLO know about the sale so we can update the property record and billing.

Making a claim.

  1. 1Call FLO with the property address, invoice information if you have it, and a description of the problem.
  2. 2Give FLO reasonable access to inspect the enrolled component and find the cause of the failure.
  3. 3If a covered failure is confirmed, FLO repairs or replaces the eligible component, including covered labor and materials, without a separate charge.
  4. 4If a claim isn’t covered, FLO explains what we found and may offer separately priced service. The program doesn’t guarantee immediate or after-hours response.

What “lifetime” means.

“Lifetime” means there’s no fixed age-based expiration for an eligible enrolled repair while its annual membership and add-ons stay active and paid. It doesn’t mean the entire home is covered, or that excluded equipment is covered. Your written enrollment terms govern renewal, cancellation, refunds and claims.
